Château Maris

Château Maris is a 45-hectare vineyard located in La Livinière, now a Minervois cru. In 1997, the estate was acquired by Robert Eden, son of Anthony Eden, a minister under Winston Churchill who was also famous for having visited numerous vineyards around the world. In 2004, Château Maris received Biodyvin certification and is now managed entirely using biodynamic farming methods, producing fresh, balanced wines of exceptional quality. Committed to sustainable development, the Château Maris winery is constructed from plant-based materials (hemp bricks) and is equipped with oval-shaped fermentation tanks. The Minervois La Livinière appellation covers just 270 hectares.
