Château Maris
Château Maris is a 45-hectare vineyard located in La Livinière, now part of the Minervois appellation. In 1997, the estate was acquired by Robert Eden, son of Anthony Eden, Winston Churchill's minister, but also famous for having traveled to many vineyards around the world. In 2004, Château Maris was certified Biodyvin and is entirely managed using biodynamic agriculture, producing fresh, balanced wines of high quality. With a genuine commitment to sustainable development, the Château Maris winery is a plant-based construction (hemp brick) and is equipped with ovoid vats. The Minervois La Livinière appellation covers only 270 hectares.
