Gérard Bertrand
The fabulous family history of Gérard Bertrand wines began in 1975, in the vineyards of Château de Villemajou in the heart of the Corbières region. Gérard Bertrand harvested his first grapes alongside his father and discovered a passion for wine and viticulture. He then spent 12 years perfecting his skills alongside his father. After his father's accidental death in 1987, he took up the torch and, five years later, created his own company to develop a range of wines from the South of France.

A real turning point came in 2002 with the acquisition of Château de l'Hospitalet, in the La Clape natural park. Gérard Bertrand continues to unearth new Gems enrich the diversity of his wines. Today, he is at the head of a world-renowned brand and reigns over 16 châteaux in Languedoc, including 880 hectares of certified organic and biodynamically farmed vineyards.

Gérard Bertrand produces exceptional wines that showcase the quintessence of the Languedoc terroir, where innovation, excellence, naturalness, and conviviality are the watchwords. A fourth generation is preparing to take over, with Emma and Mathias Bertrand accompanying their father, sharing the same passion and ideology.
