Domaine Les Hautes Terres

Domaine Les Hautes Terres is owned by Gilles Azam and is locatedin Roquetaillade, west of Limoux, in the Upper Aude Valley, at the foot of the Pyrenees. A passionate, authentic, and meticulous winemaker, Gilles Azam has been at Domaine Les Hautes Terres since 1999.

The vineyards of Domaine Les Hautes Terres now cover 9 hectares, divided into 12 plots situated between 350 and 600 meters above sea level, encompassing all of Roquetaillade’s terroirs: limestone plateaus formed from ancient lakes, deep clay-sandstone soil (Nummulite sandstone), and the famous Turritella marl. Since 2000, the vineyards of Domaine Les Hautes Terres have been cultivated using certified organic farming methods. In the cellar, the same principles of naturalness and authenticity prevail, with the use of indigenous yeasts.

The wines of Domaine Les Hautes Terres are characterized by a lovely finesse and freshness, offering lively, vibrant whites with fine bubbles, and taut, crisp, and elegant reds.
