Château de Valflaunès - Pic Saint-Loup T'em T'em 2019
1*Étoile
Hachette
“Syrah and Grenache Noir feature in this premium cuvée, whose nose bears the hallmark of extended barrel aging (18 months). The fruit (red berries) and violet notes come through more freely on a palate with good body, well-structured by firm tannins and refreshed by a hint of eucalyptus on the finish. Let it settle quietly to fully develop its character." (Le Guide Hachette des Vins 2022). A red to be cellared for a few years so it can fully express itself...

About the wine:
Syrah and Grenache Noir are the stars of this premium cuvée, whose nose bears the hallmark of extended barrel aging (18 months). Fruit (red berries) and violet notes express themselves more freely on a palate with good body, well-structured by firm tannins and refreshed by a hint of eucalyptus on the finish. Let it settle in and fully develop its aging potential.
About the estate:
Fabien Reboul established his winery in 1998 in the heart of the village of Valflaunès, on the site of the former menagerie belonging to Baron Jean-Jacques Louis Durand, the first mayor of Montpellier elected in the 18th century. Today, he cultivates a 14-hectare vineyard by hand and without pesticides; the vineyard is currently in the process of converting to organic farming.
