"A dazzling Picpoul, with unforgettable flavours and textures!"
"The range of wines has been enriched by a selection of parcels, the perfect showcase for a superb terroir that until now no-one had been able to exploit to the full. The colors are luminous, golden yellow, indicating careful extraction and ageing on lees. Such is the case with Bréchallune, aged in sandstone amphora in search of something other than the simple Picpoul reserved for oysters: lemon, kumquat, ginger, vibrancy!" (Le Guide RVF 2026).

Wine rated (2026 guide) 90/100
Domaine rated (guide 2026) 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the wine:
Don't miss Bréchallune, a Picpoul matured slowly on lees, a departure from the classic style of the appellation.
About the domain :
This 35-hectare estate in Montagnac is famous for its Picpoul de Pinet. Yves and his daughter Anaïs run it biodynamically and are experimenting with new containers, including terracotta, ceramic and sandstone dolias. Don't miss Bréchallune, a Picpoul aged slowly on lees that departs from the appellation's classic style, or Le Chant des Dolia, a stunning Languedoc that goes far beyond the standard of this regional appellation.

Domaine noté (guide 2026) Award-winning wines (The wines of this producer are regularly awarded by the guide)
About the domain :
Oriented towards melon cultivation and a contributor to the cooperative winery, the estate took a major turn in 2004 with the creation of a winemaking cellar. In 2009, Anaïs Ricôme joined her father Yves at the head of a 35-hectare vineyard (organic), created a new range and developed sales.

About the domain :
Anaïs Ricôme is the benchmark for Picpoul de Pinet, producing wines of great purity from this beautiful clay-limestone terroir. The appellation produces some of Languedoc's finest whites, marked by the straight, iodized sea breezes of the piquepoul grape variety. After studying viticulture and oenology and gaining experience in a New Zealand vineyard, her father, Yves, suggested she take over this estate near Marseillan. Having just settled in, she made some drastic decisions: to reduce the vineyard's surface area, in order to better control the level of quality, to convert the estate to organic farming and to use certain dynamic organic practices. Aging is very light, with priority given to stainless steel, sandstone and old foudres. The result is brilliant, powerful and energetic wines of great precision. Quality is once again the order of the day.
