Domaine La Madura

Domaine La Madura is a small vineyard located in Saint-Chinian, which could be described as a mosaic vineyard due to its great diversity—in terms of soil types, grape varieties, elevation, and microclimates. This diversity is one of the estate’s greatest strengths. Nadia and Cyril Bourgne left their home region of Bordeaux, convinced of the high quality of the Languedoc terroirs, to take over Domaine La Madura, which is certifiedorganic and has high environmental value.

The vineyard at Domaine La Madura consists of a patchwork of plots totaling approximately 12.5 hectares of vines. It is this diversity that constitutes one of Domaine La Madura’s main strengths, allowing for a wide range of wines whose complementary characteristics prove particularly interesting during the blending process. As such, the estate produces various Languedoc appellations: AOC Saint-Chinian, AOC Coteaux du Languedoc, and Vin de Pays d’Oc.
