RVF

Grand Vin reveals a rich and elegant bouquet, with smoky, slightly resinous notes of white flowers, sweet almond, and rose. This complexity is reflected on the palate, supported by beautiful volume and refreshing acidity. "Most interesting and distinctive" (Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2018 - RVF)

Wine rated (2018 guide) 14,5/20 (Good wine)

Rated estate (2024 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

After extensive studies in biogenetics, ampelography, and oenology, Cyril Bourgne began his career in Bordeaux (Château de Fieuzal) before embarking on a more personal wine-growing adventure in Languedoc with his wife Nadia. The vineyard is meticulously maintained, allowing for the extraction of long, fine flavors during the vinification process, which now takes place in the new cellar nestled in the Saint-Chinian landscape. The precision of the barrel aging process, implemented for the Grand Vin cuvée, which is predominantly Syrah and Mourvèdre, aims to renew the contemporary expression of Saint-Chinian.
