"A beautiful balance between freshness and richness in this light white wine, an easy-drinking cuvée, perfect for enjoying when the warm weather arrives."

The Classic white, with its unique blend of Sauvignon and Piquepoul, offers a very distinctive aromatic profile, combining aromas of white peach, apricot, and quince paste with notes of toasted almonds. On the palate, the attack is round with a finish prolonged by the tangy freshness.

Rated estate (2024 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

After extensive studies in biogenetics, ampelography, and oenology, Cyril Bourgne began his career in Bordeaux (Château de Fieuzal) before embarking on a more personal wine-growing adventure in Languedoc with his wife Nadia. The vineyard is meticulously maintained, allowing for the extraction of long, fine flavors during the vinification process, which now takes place in the new cellar nestled in the Saint-Chinian landscape. The precision of the barrel aging process, implemented for the Grand Vin cuvée, which is predominantly Syrah and Mourvèdre, aims to renew the contemporary expression of Saint-Chinian.

About wine:

Crisp and healthy. A sip of this wine is like a bite of spring salad: bright green peas, snap peas, slender asparagus, butter lettuce, a drizzle of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and a hint of fruity acidity from golden apples. Bright, appetizing, crisp, and fresh. Summer in a glass.
