"A precise and smooth Pinot in which finesse and elegance take center stage"

Made from a blend of four plots, Morogues Rouge fully captures the distinctive character of the soils found in the area: a combination of Kimmeridgian marl, flint, and hard limestone. As a result, the Pinot Noir expresses itself through fruit and freshness, all supported by a light tannic structure. Pure delight!

Rated estate (2026 guide): 3*Stars (High-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

The Pellé family has deep roots in the Menetou-Salon appellation, and their work in both the vineyard and the winery is impressive. Since 2006, Paul-Henri has been revitalizing this family-run estate, which continues to improve in quality. The emphasis on single-vineyard wines and the mastery of oak aging—increasingly using large containers such as foudres and tanks—contribute to the estate’s excellence, which has been further elevated by its certification in organic farming since 2021.

Wine rated (2025 Guide) 90/100 Favorite 2022 Vintage)

Rated estate (2026 guide) 1*Star (Rising stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a good standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Paul-Henry Pellé, Anne’s son, oversees the vineyard and winemaking: this meticulous winemaker, who is constantly refining soil management and aging techniques, is fully committed to achieving optimal ripeness and a diverse expression of the terroirs. Meticulous winemaking yields crisp, refreshing whites (Morogues), as well as deeper wines that reflect the uniqueness of each terroir: Le Carroir (old vines on flint), Vignes de Ratier (sun-drenched Kimmeridgian marl), and Les Blanchais (northeast-facing Kimmeridgian marl). Well-structured, the reds can vary somewhat in character.
