Domaine Pellé
The Pellé estate is located around the village of Morogues, at the eastern end of the Loire Valley, clustered around its beautiful church, meadows, and hillsides, and home to the cellars of the estate. Winegrowers for generations, the Pellé family has been producing wines in the Menetou-Salon appellation since its creation in 1959. The histories of the appellation and Domaine Pellé are intertwined, and they grew up side by side, reaching maturity and renown.

The Domaine Pellé vineyard is planted on Kimmeridgian-type clay-limestone marl from the Loire, also known as "oreille de poule" (chicken's ear) or white earth. The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods, with soil cultivation and green harvesting allowing the terroir to express itself and yields to be controlled. Run by Anne Pellé and her son, Paul-Henry, Domaine Pellé has become the leader and foremost ambassador of the Menetou-Salon appellation, the pride of Berry, converting to organic farming in 2020.
