Les Vignes de Ratier possesses a beautiful amplitude, where white-fleshed fruits highlighted by a few spicy notes combine with a distinctive minerality. A pure expression of the Morogues terroir.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 92/100
Domaine rated (guide 2026) 3*Stars (High-quality production that can serve as a benchmark in its sector)
About the domain :
The Pellé family have deep roots in the Menetou-Salon appellation, and their work in the vineyard and winery is impressive. Since 2006, Paul-Henri has been re-enchanting this family-run address, which is improving in quality. The emphasis on plot-based cuvées and the mastery of ageing in wood, with an increasing use of large containers (foudres and vats), contribute to the excellence of the domaine, which has added a further requirement with organic farming certification since 2021.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 91/100
Domaine rated (guide 2026) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winemakers with good production levels, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the wine:
As for Sauvignon Blanc, nature was very generous in 2023, offering natural suppleness and fluidity. Each terroir remains well defined, with the straightforwardness and dry finish of Les Vignes de Ratier evoking Kimmeridgian marl.
About the domain :
Paul-Henry Pellé, Anne's son, is in charge of the vineyards and vinifications: this demanding winemaker, who never ceases to refine soil work and ageing methods, is fully committed to the quest for optimal ripeness and varied terroir expression. Meticulous vinification produces crisp, refreshing whites (Morogues), as well as deeper wines that reflect the uniqueness of each terroir: Le Carroir (old vines on flint), Vignes de Ratier (solar terroir of Kimmeridgian marl), Les Blanchais (northeast-facing Kimmeridgian marl). Well constituted, the reds may show some deviation.
