“A beautiful, full-bodied structure, enhanced by a lively tension”

Les Vignes de Ratier offers a beautiful breadth of flavor, where white-fleshed fruits accented by subtle spicy notes blend with a distinctive minerality. A pure expression of the Morogues terroir.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 92/100 (2023 vintage)

Rated estate (2026 guide): 3*Stars (A high-quality production that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

The Pellé family has deep roots in the Menetou-Salon appellation, and their work in both the vineyard and the winery is impressive. Since 2006, Paul-Henri has been revitalizing this family-run estate, which continues to improve in quality. The emphasis on single-vineyard wines and the mastery of oak aging—increasingly using large containers such as casks and tanks—contribute to the estate’s excellence, which has reached a new level of rigor with its certification in organic farming since 2021.

Wine rated (2026 guide) 91/100 (2023 vintage)

Rated estate (2026 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or high-quality winemakers producing wines of a high standard—you won’t be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)

About the estate:

Paul-Henry Pellé, Anne’s son, oversees the vineyard and winemaking: this meticulous winemaker, who is constantly refining soil management and aging techniques, is fully committed to achieving optimal ripeness and a diverse expression of the terroirs. Meticulous winemaking yields crisp, refreshing whites (Morogues), as well as deeper wines that reflect the uniqueness of each terroir: Le Carroir (old vines on flint), Vignes de Ratier (sun-drenched Kimmeridgian marl), and Les Blanchais (northeast-facing Kimmeridgian marl). Well-structured, the reds can vary somewhat in character.
