A year of aging on lees gives the "Les Houx" cuvée remarkable aromatic intensity. Ripe citrus notes evolving into richness give this lively, fresh, and iodine-tinged Muscadet beautiful structure and great complexity. Excellent value for money.

Wine rated (2016 guide) 15,5/20 (Good wine)

Rated estate (2016 guide) 1*Star (Up-and-coming stars or quality winemakers producing good wines; you won't be disappointed when tasting the wines from these estates)

About wine:

The fineness of the sand and sandstone refines the character in Les Houx, which is more complex.

About the estate:

Jo Landron's vintages have become benchmarks in the small family of terroir Muscadets. The wines are marketed in a staggered manner, starting with the light Amphibolite, which is best enjoyed for its fruitiness and is very popular in wine bars, followed by the clay-sand or sandstone wines, depending on the case, with the age of the vines influencing the beautiful arrangement of the terroirs. In the best years, Hermine d'Or combines maturity and freshness, and Fief du Breil offers real complexity.

Ideal for reconciling with Muscadet, fruity with just the right amount of acidity.
