"Style and quality for this Sancerre wine"

"Intense fruitiness (white peach, candied lemon) combined with vegetal and mineral notes give the nose a spring-like quality. Aromas complemented by lime on the palate, which is lively, full-bodied, and has good length." (Le Guide Hachette 2025).

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2026 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Constantly improving, the Roblin brothers offer wines of great consistency, produced from a 17-hectare vineyard, mainly spread over white soil terroirs, but also in the hillside areas of Maimbray and Sury-en-Vaux. This is an estate where there are many good value wines.

Rated estate (2026 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer's wines are regularly awarded by the guide)

About wine:

Intense fruitiness (white peach, candied lemon) combined with vegetal and mineral notes give the nose a spring-like quality. These aromas are complemented by lime on the palate, which is lively, full-bodied, and has good length.

About the estate:

Matthias Roblin took over this family estate, which dates back to the 18th century, in 2000. His brother Émile joined him six years later. The vineyard covers 19 hectares and is cultivated using "sustainable farming methods with a focus on organic practices."
