La Grange Tiphaine Estate
The Grange Tiphaine estate is a long and rich family history for these winemakers, who were already cultivating vineyards as part of a mixed-farming system in the 19th century. Since the 2000s, Damien, the great-great-grandson of Delecheneau, has taken over the 13-hectare vineyard located on the land known as La Grange Tiphaine. By focusing on their grape varieties, gaining winemaking experience in France and abroad, and meticulously tending their vineyard—certified organic since 2007—Damien and his wife Coralie have establishedLa Grange Tiphaine asa leading name in the region. With the utmost respect for nature and their terroirs, the couple tends to their old vines using biodynamic methods (certified in 2014).

The red grape varieties (6 hectares)—Côt, Gamay, Grolleau, and Cabernet Franc—produce wines with character, fruitiness, and power. The white wines (7 hectares), delicate and well-suited for aging, are made from Chenin. Finally, 2% Sauvignon and 4% of various other grape varieties round out the estate’s range of 14 cuvées, resulting in wines that are increasingly refined and characterized by purity.
