About the wine:
A 100% Côt de Beaujolais with a deep black color streaked with striking amethyst highlights; the nose is centered on intense notes of blackcurrant and cherry; full-bodied and rich, it is well supported by silky tannins that show a bit more bite on the finish.
About the estate:
Georges, the great-grandfather, planted the first vine in 1905. Today, the vineyard covers 17 hectares and is farmed organically by Jérôme Sauvète, his wife Dominique, and their daughter Mathilde.
