“A tribute to Pagnol and the rock partridges of *La Gloire de mon Père* (the largest species of partridge), this Bandol is also an ode to Mourvèdre, sourced here from 50-year-old vines rooted in clay soils. Candied blueberry, cocoa bean, spicy notes (saffron, vanilla), and woody tones blend elegantly in the bouquet, then return with intensity in a dense, rich, ripe, and distinctive palate, wrapped in fine, sap-like tannins that accompany a savory finish tinged with Havana and star anise. Absolutely seductive and with excellent aging potential, it is already radiant.” (Le Guide Hachette 2024) Decant beforehand to dispel the reduction typical of Mourvèdre.

About the estate:
Guilhem Tournier established his vineyard in 2004: 6.5 hectares located at the foot of the medieval village of La Cadière-d'Azur and cultivated organically. He also took over his parents' family estate, Domaine Roche Redonne, bringing the total to 12 hectares.
