“Crafted from a small 1-hectare plot facing the setting sun and planted with 70-year-old Mourvèdre vines, this cuvée immediately captivates with its aromatic elegance, featuring intense notes of wild berries, sweet spices (star anise, cinnamon), and toasted hazelnut. With its supple attack, rich and succulent body, velvety tannins, and a finish with a hint of licorice bitterness, the palate offers a promising, indulgent experience. While it has good aging potential, this Bandol can still be enjoyed within the next two or three years.” (Le Guide Hachette 2025)

About the estate:
Guilhem Tournier established his vineyard in 2004: 6.5 hectares located at the foot of the medieval village of La Cadière-d'Azur and cultivated organically. He also took over his parents’ family estate, Dom. Roche Redonne, bringing the total to 12 hectares.
