“Produced from a small 1-hectare plot facing the setting sun and planted with 70-year-old Mourvèdre vines, this cuvée immediately captivates with its aromatic elegance, featuring intense notes of wild berries, sweet spices (star anise, cinnamon), and toasted hazelnut. With its supple attack, rich and succulent body, velvety tannins, and a finish with licorice-like bitterness, the palate offers a promising indulgence. While it has good aging potential, this Bandol will be ready to enjoy in two or three years.” (Le Guide Hachette 2025)
