"An exceptional ageing potential for this Bandol rosé; to be discovered and rediscovered year after year!"

"Domaine Terrebrune's Bandol Rosé 2023 exudes aromas of spice, grapefruit, pomegranate, red fruit and rose petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate, supple and enveloping, taut and crystalline, with a long, delicate and mouthwatering finish. This is a fragrant, refined Bandol rosé". (Wine Advocate 2024)

4-star rated estates (top-quality producers, the glories of French winegrowing)

About the domain :

A terroir within a terroir, that's how to sum up Terrebrune, a pampered estate led by a two-headed management team of Reynald Delille and Jean d'Arthuis. Situated in Ollioules, this estate near the Mediterranean plays between sea spray and first-rate limestone soil. No muscle, no great color, but wines imbued with sensitivity, to be waited for and allowed to express their aromas. More recently, Julien Paul, the brilliant technical director, has brought out the Trias and refined Terrebrune's precious grain. The 2019 vintage culminates at the pinnacle of refined, uncluttered bandols.

Domaine noté (guide 2024) Guide Vert (They represent the excellence of French winegrowing. The best terroirs cultivated by the greatest winemakers. Tasting their wines is always a magical experience)

About the wine:

This is certainly one of the most radiant rosés around the Mediterranean, with a perfume to match its colorful robe, a brilliant bouquet and a luscious mid-palate of delicious spices.

About the domain :

Located in the commune of Ollioules, the estate boasts 35 hectares of vines planted on terraces facing the Mediterranean Sea, and is farmed organically. The vineyard benefits from Triassic clay-limestone marl soils unique to Bandol, giving it a style all its own. The property is located just a few kilometers from the sea and benefits from sea spray, ideal for Mourvèdre.

This bright and full-bodied Bandol 2023 impresses with its enveloping and delicate flesh, bursting with flavors of crushed strawberries, apricots, and spices, and stretches out on a framework of great freshness and beautiful volume towards an equally delicious finish stimulated by a hint of iodine. Although young, this refined and racy rosé has already been a huge hit alongside bouillabaisse. Rating = 4.5.

Fraai Bandol-roze. Meloenroze van de meloenen uit de streek. Neus: meteen garrigue, mediterrane indrukken, meloen, kruidigheid, aards, terroir. Score: 17,5/20
