New vintage, 2012 was rated: Robert Parker 86/100, RVF 14/20, Guide Hachette 1*(Very successful wine)
This Côtes de Provence has a pale pink color, clear and bright, with an intense nose evoking fennel, anise, and violet, accompanied by a subtle note of sweet spices from the Syrah. A charming Provençal rosé, preserving its minerality, to be enjoyed with friends over a plate of charcuterie, for example...

Bettane & Desseauve

Bettane & Desseauve

Rated estate (2016 guide) 2 stars (A serious and recommendable production, but a little more consistent and uniform than the previous one)

About the estate:

Grégory Hecht and François Bannier have breathed new life into the region, specializing from the outset, in 2002, in high-quality, ambitious, and original wine trading. Carefully selecting their grapes from across the Mediterranean, from Roussillon to Provence, they meticulously vinify and age ambitious vintages that often hit the mark. Every year, they visit several hundred estates to select only the finest grapes and the best juices, most often from hillside vineyards.

Wine rating (2014 guide) 14/20 (2012 vintage) (Good wine)

Rated estate (2016 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking and, as such, all the estates listed in it, even those without stars, represent, in our opinion, the excellence of French production.)

About the estate:

Grégory Hecht and François Bannier continue to run their wine trading and production business specializing in wines from the Mediterranean region (Languedoc, Roussillon, and Provence), breathing new life into an area lacking initiatives of this kind. The selection is rigorous, with a precise and aromatic style that cleverly avoids the influence of new wood. While we applaud the work accomplished and the consistency of the most ambitious vintages, with Faugères and Saint-Chinian among the best in their respective appellations, the range also shows some weaknesses.
