Domaine Loew - Riesling Bruderbach Clos des Frères 2015
91/100
Robert Parker
"The 2015 Bruderbach Clos des Frères Riesling opens with a clean, concentrated, deep, and mineral nose of perfectly ripe fruit (lemon). Round, intense, and elegant on the palate, it is a clean, fresh, and salty Riesling with a long and aromatic finish. Thanks to its low pH, it is a delicious Clos but full of tension, very mineral with a beautiful and persistent structure. Impressive!" (Wine Advocate 2017 - Robert Parker)

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2017 guide) 3 stars (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
Étienne Loew is courageously fighting to raise awareness of the little-known terroirs of Westhalten, where very few winegrowers bottle their wine. Careful vinification and long aging (mainly in stainless steel vats) produce pure, precise wines, with the Rieslings being very dry.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France
Rated estate (2017 guide) 2 stars (These very large estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves which, thanks to their consistency and the excellence of their production, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers).
About the estate:
For several years now, this estate, skillfully managed by Etienne Loew, has won us over with its consistent production and excellent wines. He has found the key to fully unlocking the nuances of the soils around Westhoffen, and defends this somewhat isolated vineyard like a guardian watching over his ramparts! His touch is sure, his thinking open, and his wines are distinguished by their elegance. A winery worth discovering.

Superb vintage, very accessible today, requiring a little aeration. Disappointed I only bought three bottles!
