Intense aromas of rose petal jam, white peach, and even raspberry perfume this voluptuous and powerful Viognier. The flavors of honey and mandarin are creamy and full-bodied on the palate, and a refreshing note beautifully enlivens the mid-palate. This substantial wine is already delicious and will age well until 2030.

About the estate:
This small estate owns some lovely vineyards in Condrieu, some of which—such as Poncin—are very close to Château Grillet. We were more impressed by the red Saint-Josephs than by the Condrieus in 2017.
