Domaine François Merlin

It all began in 1987, when François Merlin planted his first vineyard while working as a vineyard worker at Domaine Rostaing. After selling his first AOC Condrieu vintage in 1990, he set up exclusively on his own domaine François Merlin in 1999, before expanding his operation and being joined by his son Laurent in 2013. A wonderful family story for two wine and viticulture enthusiasts. In their vineyards, most of which are on very steep slopes, they seek to convey the expression of their terroirs, with a very controlled woodiness, lots of fruit and minerality.
