Domaine François Merlin

It all began in 1987, when François Merlin planted his first vineyard while working as a vineyard laborer at Domaine Rostaing. After selling his first vintage in AOC Condrieu in 1990, he moved exclusively to his François Merlin estate in 1999 before expanding his operation and being joined by his son Laurent in 2013. It's a wonderful family story for two enthusiasts of wine and viticulture. In their vineyards, most of which are on very steep slopes, they seek to convey the expression of the terroirs with very controlled oak, lots of fruit, and minerality.
