La Bergerade Estate
Domaine la Bergerade is located halfway between Nîmes and Montpellier, between the sea and the mountains in the town of Vauvert. The 30 hectares of organic vineyards surround the 17th-century sheepfold in a single block, overlooking the Petite Camargue and its ponds.

In 2021, after four years of renovations, Jean-Pierre and Virginie took over Domaine la Bergerade. A native of the region and from a family with generations of experience in the wine industry, Jean-Pierre is committed to preserving his heritage and history, with the goal of producing quality wines that respect the terroir and the environment.

Benefiting from excellent southern exposure, the soil—composed of rounded pebbles with a clay subsoil—allows Domaine la Bergerade to reveal the identity of the wines from the southernmost vineyard in the Rhône Valley. Optimal sunshine, the purifying mistral wind, and the humidity generated by the nearby Camargue ponds enable the production of exceptional wines.
