Domaine La Bergerade

In 2021, after four years of renovations, Jean-Pierre and Virginie took over Domaine la Bergerade. A native of the region and from a family with a long history in winemaking spanning generations, Jean-Pierre makes it a point of honor to preserve his heritage and history, with the goal of producing high-quality wines that respect the terroir and the environment. 

Benefiting from excellent southern exposure, the soil—composed of rounded pebbles with a clay subsoil—allows Domaine la Bergerade to reveal the unique character of the wines from the Rhône Valley’s southernmost vineyard. Optimal sunshine, the purifying mistral wind, and the humidity generated by the nearby Camargue lagoons all contribute to the production of exceptional wines.
