Robert Parker
"In 2022, Les Triotes will give way to La Triote, a selection of plots from the locality of the same name.
"A broad, textured and dense 100% Syrah. Shows notes of black fruit, herbs and warm spices, with medium body and creamy tannins. Precise and velvety in the center. Ample and dense, balanced and harmonious. Generous but controlled, with a concentrated, persistent finish." (James Suckling 2024)

Bettane & Desseauve
Domaine rated 1*Star (A serious, recommendable production, in line with what one has the right to expect from its appellation(s))
About the domain :
This estate has a few pretty vines in the Côte Blonde area, including one on Goutay, near their home, but their best wine comes from Les Rochains, on the schists near La Landonne. The production still lacks homogeneity, but the style is authentic, with the mark of the whole harvest. The 2017s showed a beautiful face this year.

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate
Wine rated ( 2025 guide) 91/100 (Great wine)
About the wine:
Made from vines planted in the La Triote area of Côte Brune, Côte-Rôtie La Triote 2022 offers aromas of dark wild berries, blackberries, spices, pepper and smoke. Medium-bodied, linear and dense, this is a perfectly balanced and structured Côte-Rôtie, with velvety tannins, enhanced by a long, delicate finish. Fermented with 25% whole bunches, this classic wine was aged for 18 months in barrels (50% new).

Wine rated (2026 guide) 94/100
Domaine rated (guide 2024) 1*Star (Stars in the making or quality winegrowers with a good level of production, you won't be disappointed when you taste the wines from these estates)
About the domain :
The Garon sons bring out the best in the diversity of Côte-Rôtie terroirs. We are seduced by the style of the domaine's wines, which are distinguished by their finesse of texture. The fruit is precise, and the ageing progresses according to the terroirs and their ability to handle the wood. Among the different cuvées, La Sybarine evokes the expression of granitic soils; Les Triotes, located on the Côte Blonde, next to Lancement, comes from schist; Les Rochins is born on the brown schist of the Côte Brune.
Vinous
Wine rated (2024 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
Côte-Rôtie La Triote 2022 presents intense notes of wood smoke, dried meat, licorice and ripe black cherry. A hint of pencil shavings adds an extra layer. Concentrated and round, the 2022 is a precise, intense La Triote that finishes spicy.
