About the estate:

This estate has some lovely vineyards in the Côte Blonde area, including one on the Goutay, near their home, but their best wine comes from Les Rochains, on the schist soils near La Landonne. The production still lacks consistency, but the style is authentic, bearing the hallmark of whole-cluster fermentation. The 2017 vintage showed great character this year.

The Garon wines beautifully highlight the diversity of the Côte-Rôtie terroirs. We are captivated by the estate’s winemaking style, which stands out for its refined texture. The fruit is well-defined, and the aging profiles gain depth depending on the terroirs and the estate’s skill in managing oak. Among the various cuvées, La Sybarine reflects the character of the granitic soils; Les Triotes, located on the Côte Blonde next to Lancement, is made from schist; and Les Rochins is crafted from the brown schist of the Côte Brune.
