Domaine La Lôyane - Côtes du Rhône Cuvée Bonheur rouge 2024
3*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
“The best-selling Côtes du Rhône for the past eight vintages!”
"Consistently top-notch, this blend of half Grenache and half Syrah continues to delight lovers of round, aromatic Côtes-du-Rhône wines aged without oak. Subtly fruity, it slowly releases notes of juicy cherry and redcurrant jelly mingled with a touch of cocoa butter upon aeration, unfolding a rich, velvety texture resting on perfectly integrated tannins, carried away in the finish by an irresistible freshness saturated with fruit (Burlat). A voluptuous wine with a texture that is quite unique for the vintage.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the wine:
Always at the top of its game, this blend of half Grenache and half Syrah continues to delight lovers of round, aromatic Côtes-du-Rhône wines aged without oak. Subtly fruity, it slowly releases notes of juicy cherry and redcurrant jelly mingled with a touch of cocoa butter upon aeration. It unfolds with a rich, velvety texture, resting on perfectly integrated tannins, and is carried to the finish by an irresistible freshness saturated with fruit (Burlat). A voluptuous wine with a texture that is quite unique for the vintage.
About the estate:
Located at the foot of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sanctuary in Rochefort-du-Gard, not far from the ancient marshes drained by monks in the Middle Ages, this estate—founded in 1994 through the merger of three small vineyards—has consistently delivered high-quality wines. Taking over from their parents Jean-Pierre and Dominique, Romain Dubois and his wife Laure, now the sole owners of the estate, have built a new cellar and converted the 20 hectares of vineyards to organic farming. A (very) safe bet.

A light, refreshing wine with notes of red berries. A true, easy-drinking Côtes du Rhône. The nose is not very expressive. A wine perfect for any meal with friends. Unbeatable value for money. I'm looking forward to 2025 and would like to buy their Tavel on 1j1v
