"Best-selling Côtes du Rhône for the past 8 vintages!"

"Consistently top-notch, this blend of half Grenache and half Syrah continues to delight lovers of round, fragrant Côtes-du-Rhône wines aged without oak. Subtly fruity, it slowly reveals notes of juicy cherry and red currant jelly mingled with a hint of cocoa butter as it breathes; it unfolds with a rich, comforting body, supported by perfectly integrated tannins, and is carried on the finish by an irresistible freshness saturated with fruit (Burlat). A voluptuous wine with a texture that is quite unique for this vintage.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

About the wine:

Always at the top of its game, this blend of half Grenache and half Syrah continues to delight lovers of round, fragrant Côtes-du-Rhône wines aged without the use of oak. Subtly fruity, it slowly releases notes of juicy cherry and red currant jelly—blended with a hint of cocoa butter—as it breathes. It unfolds with a rich, velvety texture, supported by perfectly integrated tannins, and culminates in a finish of irresistible freshness saturated with fruit (Burlat). A voluptuous wine with a texture that is truly unique for this vintage.

About the estate:

Located at the foot of the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce sanctuary in Rochefort-du-Gard, not far from the ancient marshes drained by monks in the Middle Ages, this estate—founded in 1994 through the merger of three small vineyards—has consistently delivered high-quality wines. Taking over from their parents, Jean-Pierre and Dominique, Romain Dubois and his wife Laure—now the sole owners of the estate—have built a new wine cellar and converted the 20 hectares of vineyards to organic farming. A (very) safe bet.

A superb red Côtes du Rhône, perfect with cold cuts or grilled meats. All my guests ask me what this wine is. At this price, it's a steal.

A light, refreshing wine with notes of red berries on the palate. A true Côtes du Rhône from the tank. The nose is not very expressive. A wine perfect for any meal with friends. Unbeatable value for the price. I’m looking forward to the 2025 vintage, and I’d like to buy their Tavel on 1j1v.
