"Fruits that have a lot to tell us!"

The Sainte-Cécile village appellation is characterized by the predominance of Grenache grapes, which bring delicious red and black fruit flavors. The Martin estate's cuvée is no exception to this rule, captivating us with its smoothness and freshness.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 01/23/2025

A moderately powerful wine without any aggressiveness or heaviness, quite the contrary, with a smooth and generous profile. It is full-bodied, relaxed, and balanced, with a fine, creamy texture around the fruit of a dominant, ripe Grenache that gives itself freely, bordered by fine spices and a touch of venison. Beautifully sapid finish. Overall, this is a sober and well-crafted wine that is quite successful, with the added bonus of a reasonable price. While waiting for springtime barbecues, this quintessential wine for sharing was tasted with Provençal beef meatballs and spaghetti with basil and Parmesan cheese. Rating = 3.9.
