"Great value for money!"
“Excellent control of the grapes’ ripeness (80% Grenache) in a challenging vintage for this dark wine, with an open, elegant nose of cherry and plum, spiced with a hint of cinnamon. On the palate, it offers volume, freshness, silky tannins, and a long, licorice-tinged finish.” (Le Guide Hachette 2023)

Not very interesting... For just €1 more, you can get Chapoutier, and there's a world of difference.

Medium-deep cherry red color with hints of purple at the core. On the nose: dark forest fruits, earthy notes, crushed stems, and green herbs. On the palate: red fruits, bell pepper, green notes, high acidity, and some unripe blackberries. Good grip and some body. Furthermore: character and typicity. A slightly off-putting bitterness in the finish. Score: 15/20
