Review by Mr. Gilles D. Published on June 20, 2023
A rosé with character and a slightly vinous quality, where the lively attack contrasts with the smooth roundness of jammy red berries, complemented by a hint of exoticism that adds to the complexity, along with velvety, indulgent sensations carried by a pleasant minerality. Full-bodied and dense, it also offers a long, expressive finish, enhanced by a touch of citrus bitterness. While not strictly a food-pairing rosé, Pétula comes close, particularly thanks to its elegance and aromatic richness. It’s just a short step from an aperitif to farm-raised chicken yakitori with two caramelized soy sauces and sprinkled with sesame seeds. Good aging potential. Score = 3.9.

A very pleasant surprise—this rosé is fruity without being too sweet, and perfect for lunch on a terrace.
