"A rosé with character, perfect for a meal"

Pétula is a very refined rosé that combines power and freshness. Its expressive nose reveals subtle notes of small red berries, a hint of wild maras, and passion fruit. On the palate, it is juicy, rich, and tangy. The finish lingers with notes of white-fleshed fruits and mango. A fresh and fruity rosé to enjoy with any meal!

Review by Mr. GILLES D. Published on May 19, 2025

In contrast to “pale” rosés, Pétula is a rosé with character that stands out for its power, beautiful body, and density—all contrasting with a well-balanced liveliness and a refined texture. This is a style that is both delicate and rich, with a luscious, velvety texture, infused with concentrated, tangy flavors centered on red currant, cherry, and wild strawberry, complemented by an exotic touch and subtle floral notes. The finish is long, full-bodied, and refreshing. Its natural elegance and aromatic intensity make it a seductive and ideal pairing for outdoor meals, preferably in a sun-drenched setting featuring dishes like tomato-banana-basil tart, shrimp and Parmesan risotto, or Galician-style octopus... Rating = 4.1.
