“Twelve months of aging in large oak casks have added a hint of cinnamon to this inviting, characterful nose of candied plums, stewed fruit, and licorice. Generous on the palate, it displays a full-bodied, fleshy texture, framed by substantial, chalky tannins. The warm finish, tinged with black pepper and cocoa, leaves a lasting impression of a sunny, richly indulgent Rasteau, perfectly true to the appellation’s style.” (Le Guide Hachette 2026)

Wine Enthusiast
Wine rated (2025 guide) 92/100
About the wine:
This wine hints at something wild and magnificent just beneath the surface. Aromas of violet and rose petals bloom over a dense core of crushed blackberry, white pepper, and a hint of sea salt. The palate is elegant and lively, revealing notes of pure black plum supported by crisp acidity and round, striking tannins. There is a contained energy here that promises to unfold over time. Decant it now to explore its tension, or cell it until 2030 and beyond.

Wine rated (2025 guide) 90/100
About the wine:
The 2023 Rasteau reveals superb aromas of red and black fruits, ground pepper, strawberry, black cherry, toasted garrigue, and peppery, full-bodied notes. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, round, deep, and beautifully concentrated, it embodies the fresh and concentrated style of the vintage. A blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah, and 10% Mourvèdre, aged for six months in old casks, it will age well for 10 to 12 years.
