About the estate:
The Coursodons are one of the oldest families in the village of Mauves, on the southern outskirts of Tournon, which explains their attractive portfolio of vineyards in this southern part of the Saint-Joseph appellation. Today, Jérôme, representing the fifth generation, oversees the estate’s 16 hectares, which primarily produce red wines. The lineup is structured according to the origin of the grapes and the chosen winemaking and aging methods. It features wines that are often ready to drink fairly young, with tannins that are pleasant for their roundness, particularly in the Sensonne and Paradis Saint-Pierre cuvées.

Established for four generations in Mauves, the birthplace of the Saint-Joseph appellation, Pierre Coursodon, the father, and Jérôme, the son—who took over in 1999—manage 17 hectares of vineyards dedicated exclusively to Saint-Joseph, primarily the red variety. For many years, the wines from this estate have been featured in the Guide’s selections: displaying rare consistency, they are regular recipients of stars and “ Favorites ” ratings.
