Marsanne
Roussanne
delicate

A pleasant aromatic profile, with the Marsanne revealing notes of medlar and almond, a distinct mineral character, and oak that complements the fruit. The Roussanne, meanwhile, adds breadth and depth to a palate that is delicately rounded, with subtle bitter notes that stand out and lend richness. Please note: limited quantities available.

RVF - La Revue du Vin de France / Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France

Rated estate (2021 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)

About the estate:

The estate is located in Chavanay, in the hamlet of La Ribaudy, the ancestral home of the Faury family. Lionel Faury cultivates 18 hectares across the Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, and Côte-Rôtie appellations, as well as the Collines Rhodaniennes IGP. We particularly enjoyed the Saint-Josephs from recent vintages, which demonstrate that the northern part of the appellation has real potential.
