"A blend of equal parts Syrah—aged in large barrels—and Grenache Noir, the Vinsobres Les Cornuds 2023 comes from vines planted at an altitude of 400 meters. It opens with a fragrant, fresh bouquet of black berries, blackberries, and flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, taut, and lively, it is built around lively acidity and beautiful depth on the palate, finishing with a long, fruity finish. It is a compelling wine.” (Wine Advocate 2025)

Rated 3 stars (A high-quality product that serves as a benchmark in its sector)
About the estate:
Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring vineyards in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.

Robust tannins and an intensely rich bouquet. Dark fruit and firm tannins, with an elegant core of dark fruit and a pleasant sense of freshness. Deep, dense, and well-structured. Good aging potential, but can be enjoyed young.

Rated estate (2024 guide) Recommended
About the wine:
Chalky, concentrated, and precise, it reveals aromas of cherries, red berries, dried herbs, and stone on the nose. It is medium-bodied, with chalky tannins. Crisp fruit and a hint of pepper lend it liveliness and energy. The finish is lingering and spicy. Ready to drink now or for aging.
