Bettane & Desseauve

(Notes from the 2017 vintage)

Grown on stony soil composed of clay and sandstone, Peyre Blanche is made from 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache. This wine opens with intense fruitiness on the nose and palate. Delightfully easy to drink, supported by an explosion of black fruits, the wine is balanced and fresh. A Cairanne for pure pleasure!

About the estate:

Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring appellations in the southern Rhône Valley. This ambition has been successfully realized both in Luberon with La Vieille Ferme and in the other terroirs presented. Perfect mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.
