"A distinguished Gigondas, with remarkable finesse!"

"Despite its richness and full body, this Gigondas is elegant thanks to its skillfully crafted tannins. Beautiful creamy texture with a long, full finish. It is very spicy, but it feels more like a tapestry of colors than an explosion of heat." (James Suckling 2025)

3-star rating (High-quality production, serving as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

Over the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring appellations in the southern Rhône Valley. This ambition has been successfully realized both in Luberon with La Vieille Ferme and in the other terroirs presented. Perfect mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.

Wine rating (2025 guide) 92+/100 (Outstanding wine)

Rated Recommended (Wine producer recommended by Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate)

About wine:

Made from grapes grown on the estate and purchased in equal parts, Gigondas La Gille 2023 reveals a rich and subtly reductive bouquet of spices, wild black berries, and garrigue. Medium-bodied to full-bodied, juicy and lively, it is precise and complex, with velvety tannins that linger in a long, penetrating finish. It is a surprising blend of 90% Grenache Noir and 10% Syrah.
