"A sure bet!"

“Very dark in the glass, as always, with aromas of black pepper and cinnamon. Medium-bodied, fresh, and direct, with lovely precision, it’s very invigorating on the palate. Although it has pronounced acidity, reminiscent of blackcurrant, its finish is rather tight, and while it’s not lacking in tannins, they need time to soften. A blend from all of the estate’s vineyards in Vinsobres, malolactic fermentation takes place in large oak casks, after which the wine is aged for 12 to 15 months.” (Decanter 2025)

Rated 3*Stars (A high-quality product that serves as a benchmark in its sector)

About the estate:

For the past 15 years, the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel has expanded by acquiring estates in the southern Rhône Valley. This strategy has proven successful both in the Luberon, with La Vieille Ferme, and in the other terroirs featured here. Their mastery of fermentation and appropriate aging techniques have played a major role in this success.

Rated "Recommended"

About the wine:

A very earthy and spicy nose. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, with firm tannins and a sweet, fruity core. There are also herbaceous notes. It will take a little time for the oak to integrate into the palate, but it shows excellent balance.
