Grenache
powerful
long finale

“The wine is still quite oaky, but that doesn’t matter—it has enough body to carry it off. In the meantime, we can enjoy its slight licorice-like sweetness, with notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and black figs. Structured without being overpowering, the wine finishes with a perfect hint of mint.” (Le Guide RVF 2025)

Rated Estate (2023 Guide) 2*Stars (These exceptional estates, often blessed with fabulous terroirs, are must-haves that, thanks to the consistency and excellence of their wines, deserve a place in the cellars of discerning wine lovers)

About the wine:

The wine is still quite oaky, but that doesn’t matter—it has enough body to carry it off. In the meantime, we can enjoy its slight licorice-like sweetness, along with notes of cinnamon, cardamom, and black figs. Well-structured without being overpowering, the wine finishes with a perfect hint of mint.

About the estate:

Having returned to the family estate in 1984, the Parcé brothers first made a name for themselves by producing vintage-style fortified Banyuls (vintage wines, ready to drink young), to which they brought a precision of flavor and an aromatic intensity previously unknown. Jean-Emmanuel, who joined the family in 2010, embodies the family’s renewal. He reduced the vineyard’s size to 34 hectares of this highly fragmented plot structure (50 plots). Sun exposure and altitudes vary widely. He took on the challenge of organic farming in this arid landscape, which is shaped by the rhythm of sea breezes. Dry whites and reds are now among the estate’s signature wines, offering bold and intense expressions. We commend the exceptional consistency of the lineup across all three wine types, as well as in the VDN category; it therefore logically regains its second star.
