Parcé Frères - Collioure Le Petit Gus blanc 2025
90/100
Bettane & Desseauve
“A mischievous little boy!”
A floral bouquet of vine blossoms (from 100% Grenache Gris) enhanced by lovely citrus notes. The palate is taut, with a full-bodied texture and lively energy, making it very expressive. It reveals crisp fruit flavors and finishes with a subtle, salty bitterness. It pairs perfectly with a monkfish tagine, seafood tapas, or a lemony Thai curry.

Both full-bodied and supple, the palate offers a beautiful balance between a very refined freshness and a subtle aromatic complexity featuring floral and citrus notes, counterbalanced by a touch of richness. The gentle acidity builds tension leading to a remarkable finish marked by delicate bitter notes. R.Q./P. is hard to match. This gem was selected to enhance a choice dish: oven-baked John Dory on a bed of crisp vegetables. Rating = 4.2.

Review by Mr. CHRISTOPHE D. Published on April 30, 2024
This wine is a wonderful discovery—it has a nose of white flowers and citrus, with a long finish and a gentle bitterness. It’s ideal as an aperitif or paired with fish or scallops. I recommend this wine to lovers of refined wines. It’s a white wine worth having in your cellar, and I believe it will age well.
