Beautiful amber/copper color with an ochre-yellow core. Nose: candied apricots, marmalade, candied orange, walnuts, mushroom, hints of putty and varnish. Orange zest. On the palate, a sweet, juicy, and fresh attack of dried and candied apricots, oranges, marmalade, and the lovely bitterness of the zest. The palate delivers on what the nose promises. Plenty of body, glycerin, a coating sensation, perfect balance, and a lovely length with that same bitterness and freshness at the same time. Score: 18/20
