La Pinède is a wine made primarily from Grenache (65%), which gives it a rich, full-bodied, and generous character. Mourvèdre provides structure, yet the wine remains supple, with silky tannins. This wine is approachable even when young, offering a burst of vibrant fruit and a hint of mint that adds complexity and length on the palate. A must-try!

Bettane & Desseauve
Rated estate (2020 guide) 1*Star (A high-quality, recommendable wine that lives up to expectations for its appellation(s))
About the estate:
Divided into a dozen plots covering an equal number of hectares, this estate’s spectacular vineyard is primarily planted on steep clay and schist slopes overlooking the Mediterranean. It is an estate with a long tradition, but one that seems to have lost its momentum in recent vintages.
Guide Hachette des vins
Rated estate (2022 guide) Award-winning wines (This producer’s wines regularly receive awards from the guide)
About the estate:
Founded in 1982, this 13-hectare estate brings together the vineyards of Vincent Cantié (in Collioure) and Christine Campadieu (in Banyuls), both of whom come from long lines of winemakers. The estate overlooks the sea from the hills above Collioure. It produces consistently high-quality wines, both natural sweet wines and dry wines.

Wine rated (2021 guide) 88/100 (2018 vintage)
Rated estate (2022 guide) Selected (Please note that this guide is a ranking, and as such, all the estates listed here—even those without a star—represent, in our view, the pinnacle of French winemaking.)
About the estate:
Vincent Cantié is fully committed to the demanding art of winemaking on the Côte Vermeille. He strives to capture, in both dry and fortified wines, the character of the grapes—primarily Black Grenache—grown on clay and schist soils. The dry wines are now remarkably consistent, and the Banyuls are always excellent.
