Domaine La Tour Vieille
The estate The Old Tower In the heart of the Roussillon region, where vines meet the sea, Vincent Cantié from Collioure, who founded the estate in 1982, and Christine Campadieu from Banyuls have joined forces to perpetuate the region's winemaking tradition. The vineyards of The Old Tower extends over a total of 13 hectares of vines with an average age of 40 years, set in majestic surroundings at altitudes of up to 220 meters above sea level.
Grenache is king on the Côte Vermeille, the only grape variety authorized to produce Banyuls wines, while in Collioure other grape varieties enrich the aromatic palette of the wines: Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, Maccabeu, Roussanne.
On a predominantly schistose terroir, the vines are planted on terraces, particularly in Banyuls, and are worked exclusively by hand. The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods, inspired by organic criteria and respecting the environment.
Domaine La Tour Vieille produces white, red and rosé Collioure wines and two white and red Banyuls. The range is serious, of unquestionable quality, and takes us to its vineyards with emotion and admiration. A fine ambassador for Roussillon wines.
