On the palate, it is soft, supple, and balanced, centered on red fruit notes blended with thyme, supported by pleasant, well-integrated tannins. A lovely wine to share, which pairs beautifully with a roasted shoulder of lamb seasoned with garrigue herbs.
About the estate:
Formed through the merger of three wineries, this cooperative is named after the inventor of natural sweet wines, Arnaud de Villeneuve. It brings together 320 winegrowers from Salses, Rivesaltes, and Pézilla-la-Rivière, who cultivate some 2,000 hectares of vineyards (including 125 hectares of organic vineyards) spread across 26 municipalities and a variety of terroirs.
