Arnaud de Villeneuve - Côtes Catalanes Rancio sec (vin oxydatif)
2*Coup de Coeur
Hachette
"A rancio made from white grape varieties aged in glass demijohns in an oxidative environment, resulting in a dry wine that is rich yet balanced and fresh."
The cellar perpetuates the tradition of old sweet wines and dry rancios brought together through various blends: true treasures, like this blend of Grenache Blanc and Macabeu, draped in a beautiful amber color with honey highlights. The nose is a symphony of incredibly rich aromas: lychee, very ripe white fruits, vanilla, raisins, old champagne, cinchona, quince... The palate is of the same caliber, offering superb balance, volume, great freshness, a fine and elegant texture, and infinite length. There is a lot of class in this airy and timeless rancio.
