About the estate:

All that remains of the building constructed in the 12th century by Cistercian monks is the magnificent tower clinging to the rock face. Jean and Bernard Dauré purchased the estate in 1974. The mid-19th-century silkworm farm now houses the Contemporary Art Space, which sits next to one of the first winegrower-run restaurants established in France, open during the summer. The vineyard covers 90 hectares.
