Review by Mr. GILLES D. Published on January 7, 2025
A very southern-style wine, powerful and full-bodied, built around a core of ripe black fruit accented with a hint of pepper and beautifully enveloped in a juicy, silky texture, underscored by a touch of acidity. In addition, a tannic finish that lingers on notes of licorice and spices. Simple and immediate pleasure, although this wine can be cellared for a while. Affordable price. Its distinctive character was paired with Catalan charcuterie tapas, followed by pulled pork with spices accompanied by glazed winter vegetables. Rating = 4.
