RVF
"A rich white wine with beautiful balance!"
Kaya Blanc is a cuvée dominated by Grenache Blanc and Gris with a little Carignan Blanc and Gris. The nose is refined, with notes of white fruit and hazelnut, supported by a beautiful minerality. The attack is frank and mouthwatering, enhanced by aromas of fresh almonds.

About wine:
Kaya Blanc 2023 opens the dance with notes of orange blossom and citron. Its salty, energetic character forms the basis of its beautiful personality.
About the estate:
The Soulanes estate was created in 2002 by Cathy and Daniel Laffite in the Maury region. The couple had previously worked on these same terroirs for over ten years alongside the former owner before acquiring part of the property. The vineyards are located at the foot of the rocky peaks dominated by the Château de Queribus. The estate's wines are full-bodied yet balanced, energetic and intense.

Note and opinion by Mr. GILLES D. Published on 11/07/2024
An uncomplicated, straightforward white wine with a beautiful intensity of yellow stone fruits, as well as subtle floral and woody notes, which are structured around a salty backbone that brings a lot of freshness and a caressing richness to support it. In my opinion, the medium finish seems to suffer from excessive bitterness. Although it is not necessarily an easy pairing, this Catalan wine works well with pasta with Collioure anchovies and basil, as well as with Mediterranean sardines grilled on the barbecue. Rating = 3.8.
