Review by Mr. OLIVIER R. Published on 10/28/2019

A broken promise. It is difficult to produce a fresh, light wine from the beautiful but late-ripening Mourvèdre grape. The color lives up to its name, but the wine sorely lacks definition and clarity. With low alcohol content, the wine seems immature, with little to no fruit, and a very subtle nose. The palate lacks depth and character. Admittedly, this is a wine made with short maceration intended to quench thirst, but here it is far too brief and soulless. It’s truly a shame, as there is a clear vision here, but it falls short of its potential.
